My Story
Fun fact: I am NOT a fan of being on the other side of the camera. Some people sparkle and shine when the camera comes out and I am not one of them. I'm awkward and like -- what do I do with my hands?!
I don't tend to offer much fashion advice, although I'm happy to give you some helpful hints and preview your outfit choices. I want you to wear what makes you feel good and the most like yourself!
My favorite thing to do is help you cast, create and capture your vision. Many people feel nervous being photographed (me included!), but I've found the best pictures happen when we are just enjoying the present moment. That's not always easy, so my goal is to connect where you feel the most comfortable and start there. With families, it's often connecting with one another and the moments that come with that. With branding, it's the love and passion for what you do and who you serve. I am a fan of mixing perfect and imperfect images into your gallery. I think silly outtakes, candid moments, an unbridled laugh or an imperfectly composed moment can be just as beautiful as a moment of perfect smiles and beautiful backdrops.
I'm silly and goofy. I like to play with kids and allow them to warm up to me on their own time. I like to find out who you are, what makes you tick, and locate that sweet spot where you can relax and enjoy our time together. I don't mind if your kids are shy, or your dog is running wild or if the wind is blowing your hair everywhere.
I want to capture who you are right now in this very moment because this moment is all we have.
